What You’ll Handle

As a Housekeeping Team Member at Tru by Hilton Downtown Springfield, you help set the standard for a clean, comfortable stay—because guests notice the details.

Key responsibilities
- Refresh guest rooms between stays: beds, bathrooms, floors, trash removal, linens, and amenity restocks
- Maintain neat public areas such as hallways, entry points, and restrooms
- Keep carts, supplies, and equipment organized; report maintenance needs and lost-and-found items promptly
- Use cleaning chemicals correctly and follow all safety procedures
- Support guest requests with a friendly, service-first attitude

What you’ll need
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to operate vacuums and floor machines and handle cleaning products safely
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout shifts
- Basic English communication and a guest-service mindset
- Availability for rotating shifts (7–11 AM starts), 5 days/week including weekends/holidays

A Typical Shift

You’ll clock in for an early start, review the day’s room list, and stock your cart so you can move smoothly from one space to the next. Throughout the morning, you’ll pace your work to match checkouts and arrivals, pause to respond to a quick guest question in the hallway, and coordinate with the front desk or maintenance when something needs attention. Mid-shift, you’ll restock linens and supplies, then finish up by double-checking your areas so everything looks consistent and guest-ready.
