Assistant Property Manager

An established multifamily housing company is looking for an organized, people-minded Assistant Property Manager to help lead the front office of one of its apartment communities. You will work alongside the Community Manager to keep the property running smoothly and create a great experience for everyone who lives there or is thinking about moving in.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist current and future residents in person, by phone, and by email
• Show available apartments and help move prospects through the leasing process
• Review and process rental applications
• Keep resident files accurate and up to date
• Accept and post rent payments, security deposits, and fees
• Log service requests and follow up with the maintenance team
• Help prepare property reports and handle general office tasks
• Step in to support the Community Manager wherever needed

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily, leasing, or a customer-facing role is a plus
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm when things get busy
• Comfortable using a computer, email, and standard office equipment
• Friendly, professional, and solutions-focused
• Must have dependable transportation
